The new widget: improvement in compatibility, speed and UX

There is an updated version of the moinAI widget that will be rolled out step-by-step in the coming period.

There is no need for you to take any action or do any work. Also, not much will change for you - apart from the benefits that the updated version brings with it.

You and your website visitors can benefit from an optimised UX in the future as far as the teaser of the widget is concerned.

Action buttons and teaser messages will now stand out better from the website - very user-friendly, especially with busy and colourful backgrounds. 👍

📈 Welcome View: Now with Dashboard

You have probably already noticed the moinAI Welcome View, which provides you with chatbot tips and links to helpful articles. We have expanded this page.

From now on, you will find a small dashboard there that gives you the latest numbers on the following points:

  • Number of conversations
  • Automation rate
  • Number of positive ratings
  • Number of negative ratings

In addition, it shows you how things are developing. In other words, whether the current numbers imply an increase or decrease. ⬆️⬇️

You also have the option of choosing between the following time periods:

  • 7 days
  • 4 weeks
  • 3 months

This gives you an impression of the current chatbot performance at first glance!

✅ IP Allowlist: selected access to the moinAI Hub

An allowlist, formerly known as a whitelist, is a list of e.g. IP addresses or domains that are explicitly allowed to have access to a certain service. An allowlist is the opposite of a blocklist, which is intended to block or restrict access.

The idea behind an allowlist is quite simple: everything that is not on the allowlist is also not allowed.

In case of moinAI, companies can use an allowlist to ensure that employees only have access to the moinAI Hub from the company network or via VPN.

If an Allowlist in relation to the moinAI Hub is of interest to your company, please contact the moinAI CSM team.

📊 Intent Stats: How do the different Intents perform?

You can now find out about this by clicking on the intent view. There you will find an individual analytics section for each intent.

We remember – there are performance-oriented answers, where the click on a link counts as reaching a goal. And there are rating-oriented answers, which usually serve an informative purpose and therefore conclude with a rating question.

At a glance

What is there to analyse in feedback-oriented responses?

  • Relevance: How often is the intent requested?
        • Trend: How has the intent developed in the last 12 weeks?
  • Evaluation: Has the intent been helpful? (🟢= 👍, 🔴= 👎)
        • Trend: How have the ratings developed in the last 12 weeks?

For intents that are performance-oriented, the view looks similar. Only the lower area regarding the ratings is missing, as these intents do not contain a rating question.

What do the stats help with?

✅ They give you a quick and interesting overview of the performance of the different intents that the chatbot serves.

✅ Thanks to the trend detection, you can quickly recognise any fluctuations and act accordingly, e.g. if negative ratings accumulate.

✅ You directly notice a growth in requests for a certain intents. Apparently the relevance of the intent is growing - here it could possibly be worthwhile to expand the intent and enrich it with further elements in order to help users even better.

💡 There are many more actions and possibilities that you can conclude from the stats. Our recommendation: Be creative and try things out. You can see how your changes perform in the stats at any time.

🔎 The new conversation view: Conversational Insights at a glance

Analyse the conversations of your chatbot even faster and easier.

In the new conversation view, you have the respective intents of the conversations as well as user ratings or the achievement of goals at a glance! This way, you can see exactly which intents occurred, how satisfied a user was with a conversation or which intents suggested by the Dreaming-Feature would have been suitable.

By clicking on the buttons, you can filter the conversations of the selected day as you need them. In addition, there are now dividers in the direct conversation view so that you can see the topics even when scrolling quickly.

💬 The new preview: Testing teasers

As already announced, the new preview has another feature ready: the teaser preview!

If the moinAI chatbot is played out on the website, a teaser including a welcome message and so-called action buttons can be created. The teaser can be configured for each individual sub-page in order to greet the user appropriately for the particular context and to directly offer appropriate assistance. By the way, this has been proven to increase click-through rates and engagement!

How does the teaser preview work?

  • On the left-hand side, you can configure both the teaser message and the action buttons.
  • Type in the teaser message of your choice (if you don't want a teaser message, you can leave the field blank).
  • Select the action buttons you want:
      • There is the default action button "Ask a question", whose goal is to start a conversation with users. Apart from that, intent-based action buttons can be selected.
  • By clicking on the plus or minus symbol, you can add or delete action buttons.

Integrate teaser

Once you have created the teaser of your choice, click on "Teaser integration" to generate the appropriate code. This code can then be integrated into the desired sub-page.

Our tip: Try and test different teasers on different subpages to increase user engagement and the number of conversations. With the teaser preview, this is now easier than ever. Enjoy! 🦾
